Dingwuling Fm
Type Locality and Naming
Southwest Fujian near Jiangxi. The Dingwuling Fm was named by the Compiling Group for Regional Stratigraphic Scale of Fujian in 1979. The typical section is located in Dingwuling village 14 km southwest of Changting County, Fujian Province.

Lithology and Thickness
The Dingwuling Fm is mainly composed of grayish green metamorphic fine sandstone and siltstone intercalated with phyllite and chert. The basal 3-15 m is composed of yellowish green conglomerate and pebbly sandstone. The lower part is usually intercalated with dark purple and yellowish white metamorphic sandy mudstone and arkosic sandstone, and the lower and middle parts occasionally contain phosphatic bandings. The total thickness is 1531 m.
